    1. [MATTINGLY] MELLY MATTINGLY
    2. Hello - I'm new to this list. I have recently obtained information about my Mattingly family which gave me cause to believe all is not lost is researching this line. I have a Melly MATTINGLY b about 1870 in Washington, DC to parents James Edward MATTINGLY b 16 Apr 1832 in VA and Susanna HOWARD b abt 1837 in DC. Melly had a brother, William b abt 1867 in DC and a sister, Alice Marion b 14 Oct 1865. I cannot find Melly, her siblings, or parents in the 1880 Federal Census, Washington, DC 4th ward, although I recently obtained information on a website with this data. Can someone confirm this data for me & let me know where I can see it myself? Thank you for your time. Lynda

    3. Lynda, I see that you have a response to your email but I have an interest in Mattinglys born in Virginia as my Thomas Joseph Mattingly was born there, as well, but in 1827. Kindly email me to see if we can find any connection. Thanks so much!
