In particular, my 5th gt grandfather, Richard Mattingly, who I believe was a son of Richard Mattingly, Sr. Everything points to this connection except concrete evidence. It had no source attached to it as I recall and was not written with any precieved authority or confidence in its importance. Little did the author know that I would base years of research in trying to refute its implications. However, I have decided that William C. Mattingly IS the son of Leonard Jr/Ann Cissell and SOMEBODY is going to have to prove me wrong at this point. I'm still trying to keep an open mind, but it is difficult. :) JB
