According to entries on LDS, William migrated West and son Edward stayed behind in Maryland. William and Jane reportedly (per LDS) had 8 sons and one daughter. Edward reportedly married Anne Knott and had about 4 children: Signey Anne, Edward, Lucy Elizabeth, and Thomas.
