    1. [MATTINGLY] Mark Mattingly
    2. I also came across a couple of entries for Mark Mattingly. >From "Loudoun County, VA Tithables 1758 -1769": 1768 Tithables - Mark Mattenly with 1 tithable. Also listed was James Mattenly with 1 tithable. >From "Loudoun Co, VA Will Book B": In the will of Richard Coleman dated 15 Sep 1773 - "to Mark Mattenly for makeing 4 pr shoes....." This is only an abstract and is not very complete. >From "Old Survey Book 1746-1782 Pittsylvania Co, VA": 17 March 1779: Survey for Mark Mattenly 604 acres of land on the branches of the Sandy River and abounded as follows: ..... (a diagram is given with a description of the land). >From "Pittsylvania Co, VA 1767-1800 Plantiffs J-Z": Sep 23, 1773 - Plaintiff: Mark Matteny, Defendent Joseph Smith Mar 15, 1784 - Plaintiff Mark Mattany, Defendent - exempted from payment of levies. Can anyone piece together these people? There seems to be a connection between Mark, James, Richard and Walter. It seems that we have been debating for some time who the John Mattingly was in Prince William Co, VA with sons John and James. Perhaps since Mark is related in some way to the Cezar's line then perhaps the John there is related through that line? Help! Paul Mattingly Atlanta, GA
