William and J. I came across the children of John Baptist Mattingly from a long discussion back in Feb 2000, and Karen presented these children to us . I think William of this list may be the one we have been discussing here. I have his birthday listed as about 1807. What do you think? Judith Burger All Below From Karen. "Through various court papers that I found on file in the Washington County Courthouse in Springfield, KY, I found 11 or possible 12 children of John Baptist Mattingly. These papers include his 1817 Will, Inventory and Sale, Circuit Court packets and a 1835 Deed. I show his children to be: Eleanor Ryan Phillip Mattingly Barnaby Mattingly Gabriel Mattingly John Mattingly James Mattinlgy Joseph Mattingly Francis Mattingly Nancy Riney Bennett Mattingly William Mattingly" > My 1830 census records may be missing some names but from what I see, there > was only one William in Washington County, at the time, and I believe this > was the son of Leonard.
