Ralph, I'm not sure what other people will say about HEM's second book (published by his descendent, Patrick Smeltzer) but from my standpoint, I found a few interesting items in the book but... it was not organized in anyway and was largely just a collection of notes that HEM had made regarding info that he published in his first book. On the other hand, if you are a John Townley Mattingly or Henry Mattingly descendent from Western MD, you may find the book to be quite valuable. I found the book to be of value only in that it gave me more of an idea of HEM's thought processes in publishing the first book and also in piqueing my interest in the other info that Patrick may have in his possession that HEM had collected over many years of research.
