I am coming up with two Peter Haverman Mattinglys and I don't know who's who or IF there are two. One was a trustee of St. Joseph's RCC in Morganza MD (with my ggf Thomas C Edwards) when the new church was being built. In a booklet they show his dates as 1814-1917 ( probably wrong--- would make him 103????) The other I found is in Raymond Johnson's data base online showing Peter (1842-1917) married to Clare Emily Johnson. He shows his parents as Sylvester Mattingly and Ann Nancy Graves. I have a MD death cert for Peter Haverman Mattingly born 4/6/1841 - died 2/1/1919; he was SINGLE and I have confirmed with my 86 year old cousin that the Peter in our line was single. His parents on the certificate are shown as John Mattingly and Sarah Edwards - which confirms our data. Can anyone clarify this --- are there two born about the same time? Thanks. jean edwards
