Has anyone seen this entry on the SMC forum? Barb is trying to prove that the George Warren named in Thomas Warren's will is her ancestor. What caught my eye was that there was a George Warren in Sugarland Hundred of Montgomery Co., in 1776. Wasn't there also a John Baptist Mattingly there in this time period? In theory, George Warren could be the uncle of John Baptist son of Thomas III and Elizabeth Warren Mattingly? I've got this abstract that was enough for me to attach Elizabeth Warren Mattingly to Thomas III. In my humble opinion George Warren IS the uncle of Thomas III's children by Elizabeth Warren , but I have John Baptist as the son of Thomas III and Ruth Cole. If so George Warren would not be the uncle of John Baptist. Am I wrong? Is John Baptist the son of Elizabeth Warren?
