Joe, I have Eleanor Mattingly as the wife of James Vessels, Jr. the son of the James we are talking about that witnessed the will of William Mattingly d 1817. I have her as the daughter of Joseph F. Mattingly (of the Cezar Line) and his wife Hessina Hinton of Washington County. I think that all these Mattinglys are kin in one way or another, don't you?
