Based on place of birth for Joseph Matlick in the 1850 census, he could very well be the son of Timothy and Hester. (It would be nice if they could have kept their names straight. Didn't they know we would be looking?) My primary source was the records of Thomas Chalkly Matlack, Book 19, Descendants of John Matlack and His Two Wifes Hannah and Mary No. 3, page 140. These records have been microfilmed by the LDS. I guese I will have too brave the massive construction on I295 and go down to the Gloucester County Historical Society to look at their copy of the Microfilm to see if it has more.
