He was taken prisoner and exchanged after the capture of Lord Cornwallis. He was com mended in a letter from George Washington. Thomas Miller [Ancestor of H.L. Wal drop], Wesley Spearman [husband of Elizabeth Miller) and Thomas Spearman [son of Elizabeth and Wesley). All died ca. 1837-8.
