I don't have anything on either one, no dates, no parents. I think they hatched out last night sometime. I was also wondering where the name Smith might have come from. We have Smith(1 thru 5) and then we have Smith Simpson, Smith Hampton. Then there are Smith Choate and I believe I have seen a Smith Strickland but I may be wrong there. Also Smith Matlock married Letsie Shelton, and Nicholas Matlock married Mary Shelton. Smith's mother-in-law, Mary Shelton (not the same Mary as above), was living with he and Letsie in MO. The populations in the 1700's were not large so there is a good chance that we are all our own aunts and uncles. Sorry, I am getting punch drunk on all the same names.
