Title (1962) "When Swallows Fly Home." It is the history of Center from the first settlers in the early 1890s. I recognize a few names mentioned. He has a map of the Center Square with over 30 stores and businesses around it (dated 1890s). Beatrice gave me this list of her family: 8 Medlock Children: Julius Lester Medlock - the author, also a teacher (Masters Degree from O.U.) Chester Medlock - Father of Beatrice and Bill of Stratford, OK Albert Medlock - died 1935 Alma Medlock Kinney - a teacher - died in 1984 Stella Medlock Stegall (Mrs. Ray Stegall) a teacher Virgil Bryan Medlock - My teacher at Center, OK - 7th & 8th grade Virgil's wife - Alpha - 2 sons (a Dr. & Atty.)
