John MATLOCK, son of William MATLOCK and Mary HANCOCK, deeded to his daughter, Mary JOHNSON and son George some land that is recorded in Hanover Co. Va. Last I heard from James was in Aug 1998 .... his line of descent started with Benjamin JOHNSON and Mary MATLOCK .... see the MATLOCK Journal for Marie MATLOCK Harris's pages on this couple.
