Thought it was interesting - evidently my husband James Albert Johns was named for son of Mastin Deloney Medlock, James Albert Medlock. I asked Edith Lorene Johns (she's 88 now)about it and she said it was a "family name" - we never knew Only thing I have additional would be info on Edith Lorene Medlock b 1-30-1913 Center, OK, m Seburn Johns, she was daughter of John Haston Tarpley Medlock , known as "Junior" and Nellie Josephine Gish. Siblings of Edith are Haston, Grace, Leonard, and Raymond Medlock.(Nellie Gish came into their marriage with a daughter Pearl but don't know her first husbands name.) Edith and Seburn were married in Anadarko, Oklahoma on 11-13-1930.
