Hi List I received this information from a PRINCE surname researcher and he gave me the following info. The 1782 state census of Virginia shows a Zachariah Matlock residing in Halifax Co., Virginia. This county is on the southern border of Virginia and adjoins Person Co., North Carolina. The 1830 U. S. census of Washington Co., Tennessee, Page 257, shows a Zachariah Matlock. Does anyone know it the ZACHARIAH MATLOCK listed in the 1782 state census is? Is he the Zachariah 1.1.3.5 married to Lucy Wash? If it is this Zachariah, does anyone have a copy of that census?
