Brenda, I have no proof of this; but I have that Moore Matlock Jr. (son of Moore and Jane Powell) first married a Susan Smith about 1795 and had eight children. Then Moore married Lucy Knight 1810 in TN and they had Landon, Overton and Smith. Smith was there in 1840 and that is where Moore Jr. was... Don't know where I got this info..
