Lee Ann I have eight Zachariah's in my database (I had nine but in preparing this letter discovered that two were duplicates) and all of them have fact associated with them that have been under discussion on this list. If you feel your Prince family information is valid or more valid than what is currently known then by all means say so. We are all after all on a joint search for our family to which you now hold a key. I can't tell you now many times one small bit of information from a new member has turned around months of discussion (just look up the "Littleberry" discussion) and we all in honestly welcome a fresh mind and new information. Please continue to sort through the files and let us know what you find. After all, all of us working together will accomplish much more. Good Luck Joe Matlock >>> "LEE-ANNE DAHMS" <[email protected]> 02/06/01 02:45PM >>> Hi List, I am now totally confused. I was told by a PRINCE researcher that NANCY MATLOCK m. to JOHN C. PRINCE in 1819 was the daughter of ZACHARIAH MATLOCK and LUCY WASH. Per Joe Matlock, I looked at this site http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~szmatloc/index.html and found several ZACHARIAH MATLOCKS. A daughter Nancy was under a different Zachariah, not the one married to Lucy Wash. Their birthdates were only a few years apart. A daughter nancy was listed under Zachariah b. 1756 son of Moore and Jane Powell Matlock. There is no mention of a daughter Nancy to Zachariah and Nancy Wash. Is the information I had wrong? Does anybody know for sure who is the father and mother of NANCY MATLOCK that married JOHN C. PRINCE? I need help!
