If this is a second message sorry but the net is little squirrelly today. Joe Matlock Shawn Thanks for adding yet one more useful Item to the page. Sense we now have some go to people perhaps they can point me in the right direction. I have just begin collecting and collating some information on the MEDLOCK branch an have reached an impasse. So if I may ask: 1. If John Medlock (b. 1810 of SC, GA, AL. is the father of Jasper Newton, John Alexander, William Hudman and Robert Lewis and if this is the Jasper Newton born 1831 in Laurens County, South Carolina, then who is the father of Garrison Gibson Medlock born 19 Apr 1820 in Laurens County and raised by his grandfather "John Medlock" ? 2. How are Samuel Medlock, sometimes shown as "Foreign Born" abt. 1750 , died 1819 in South Carolina and married Eleanor related to John Medlock born abt. 1755 who married Catherine and is listed as father of Isham of 1777 (who married Susan Williams)? Is this a second set of brothers to the ones above? Again thanks for the great work Joe Matlock >>> <[email protected]> 10/23/00 11:54PM >>> Below is a link to a page on my website of folks researching various Matlocks (and other spellings).
