Hi Ive ran across a Joab Matlock 1870 MO Says he is 40 and was born in VA. His wife is Catherine, Their oldest son, George was born in KS 1859. In 1860 Joab and Catherine are in KS.In 1860 The Spelling for Matlock was Mattock. Their other children are Alice, Sherman, Nettie and Cary Ann. I know in Lee Co VA there was a Joab Matlock son of John and I am wondering If perhaps this Joab born about 1830 is a son of the older Joab? Anyone working on the VA Matlocks know whos son this Joab could be? Brenda
