Hi cousins, on Dec 14, 1848, Parthenia Thurmond (born 1826 in Edgefield SC) married Edward Horace Settle. Their daughter, Martha E. Settle, married GEORGE W MEDLOCK. I believe a George W Medlock was a sheriff in Monroe County, Al circa 1830-1835. Does anyone have a clue as to which Medlock branch he belongs with ? Emma in NM
