Jana, The bible record looks like that of John S. Matlock son of William Matlock Sr and Sarah Unknown. They were in Roane County, TN in the early 1800's. John and his family moved to IN about 1813/1814 and then to IL about 1830-1840. These births match up with what I have. John and Ellender Haggerty married in Roane County, TN.
