Part of the problem is that at least Isham No. 4 below should more properlly be listed as a Medlock than a Matlock. Most of the later records I found are under that name and that is a whole nother paper that I donot want to write. But anyway here is what I found. See if you agree. 1. To Missouri in 1818. Known son - Robert. I found little more on this guy. C. and later to Gwinett Co. , Ga. Some children according to descendant were: John Williams, James Isham Henry, Moore, Nathaniel, Lewis Henry and Mastin DeLoney. After the death of Susannah, Isham remarried and went to Cherokee Co., Ala. He died here in 1852 and he and his son, Mastin DeLoney are buried in the Salem Cemetery at Cedar Bluffs, Ala. Isham does not show in Cherokee Co., Ala. in 1840. John R. (who is in Gwinnett Co., Ga. with Isham) does. John R. is in Arkansas in 1850. Thomas 15, and Green T. 13 born Ga >From What I could find from the Census Shows: the first one to appear was in 1810 in KY: 1810 MATLOCK ISHAM Washington County KY 291 22101-21201-00 It shows that Isham was 45 and up andthat he was the father of 10 children. ( of course I cant name them for the names werent listed on the 1810 census.)
