Could it be a Valentine Medlock? We have several Valentine Matlock's. >>> TERRY GLADFELTER <terryg5@prodigy.net> 5/19/2004 3:04:31 PM >>> Hi again. If this is inresponse to the Voluntine showing on 1850 Laurens county SC in Silas's household - we have another census maybe 1860 showing a Balentine Medlock and I think he was in a Knight HH. Balentines were right there and one of James Travis's daughters married a Balentine. Brenda and I were thinking this could be the same person. Another mystery is the middle initial on ANderson's tombstone. It is Anderson S. Medlock. What's the S for - Silas, Simpson, Swearingen, South, Shockley, Simmons, Sims? These names were all there.
