Then she knew of this Mr. Mitchell who claimed he had letters and family record. Well his records show that Thomas B. was Jesse's. I am writing because I am still looking for some of my grandmother's siblings descendants. We are decsended from Isaac Newton Matlock and his wife Elizabeth. They had four daughters and one son. 1. Emily F. born about 1868 2. Jannetta C. born about 1870 3. Nathaniel S. born about 1872 4. Amanda Pearl "Mattie" born about 1874 5. Margie Louise born about 1876 Amanda Pearl Mattie Matlock was sent to live with an Aunt and Uncle somewhere we think possibly OK. She ran away when she was about 14 and married Will Holt. We found their marriage record in MacAllister, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. They were then found living out of a tent in Ouachita Parish Louisiana in the 1900 census. She at some point in her life ran a hotel. I don't know where she is when she is doing this. She met "The Kid", John Robert Bell, an auctioneer, from Drumwright, OK at some time in her life. We think she went back to OK sometime after 1900 when her husband Will died and that is when she met him. {I know I am rattling, but there is a point, trust me : )} She wound up coming to Ashley County, AR and marring John Robert Bell's brother, Isaac Bunyun, in 1908 or 1909, She was helping him raise his children from his previous marriage.
