L. Matlock. I do not have the publish date but will tomorrow. Is anyone familar with his work?? The Franklin county boys are the ones who went to Mississippi. L. Matlock is now deceased. He lived in Cowen, TN in Franklin county TN and was the great grandson of William Houston Matlock. William Houston Matlock and two of his brothers were the one in the gun fight with Nathan Bedford Forrest in 1845, Hernando, MS. John W. L. Matlock spend years researching information for this book.
