My 2nd great-grandmother was Lucinda Medlock b. abt 1806 in Kentucky, she married Richard Nobles in Missouri, and died in Crawford/Sebastian County, Arkansas abt. 1850. This is all I know about her. The Nobles migrated from Edgefield District, South Carolina between 1807 and 1815, I find them next in Randolph, White and Washington Counties, Illinois. From there they moved to Jefferson and Crawford Counties, Missouri before going to Arkansas in the 1840s. There is a Samuel Medlock b. in South Carolina in 1746. He and a Stephen Medlock appear in the 1790 census for Edgefield District. Sorry, that's all I know. Evelyn Nobles Ross
