I recently came across the obituary for Solomon Matlock, Sr. in the online edition of The Paducah Sun. He died 7/8/2000 at Cypress, Johnson County, Illinois SSDI shows birthdate of October 9, 1934. His parents were John Ellsworth Matlock and Clara Zola Irene Little Matlock. I am pretty sure he fits in my husbands Matlock line but am not sure who John Ellsworth Matlock's parents were. Would anyone on the list be able to make this connection?
