I was at the Pennsylvania Historical Society in Philadelphia today looking for bible records relating to the Matlack’s of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, in particular a bible dating from 1706 which I now have copies of. While looking for these records I discovered they had a transcript of the bible records of James Matlock, born 2-5-1781 in North Carolina, died 3-9-1869 in Randolph County, Missouri. James married 1-16-1810 Martha (Patsy) Hooper Gunn, born 5-6-1791 in North Carolina, died 9-25-1873 in Randolph County, Missouri. The bible has the birth dates of their children and the dates of the children’s marriages. Is this bible already known to members of the list? If not I will be glad to share it. Curt Miller
