I have talked with Jana a while back. My line goes from William Robert Matlock, James Ransom Matlock, Roy Matlock, Don Matlock(my father). Dad will do the DNA testing, I just can't swing the cost of it. It would give us hopefully, some answers. Hi all, (coming back from HD crash - sigh) Yes, Vicki and several others of Wm. Rbt's line can "provide cheek swabs" but we are having trouble getting together the $$$. In our instance, we need to do *two* tests as we know that Richard had two wives.... The good news is, we are in contact with "cheeks" on both sides.... I am wondering if we need to set up some kind of family association and assign a treasurer who could collect funds via PayPal. I descend from a daughter of Wm. Rbt. So altho my "cheek" is not good, I am certainly willing to contribute to the cause. We need to gather $400 to test this line, right? If we all consider contributing as we can, it won't be long before we make significant progress that will benefit us all! My line goes from William Robert Matlock, James Ransom Matlock, Roy Matlock, Don Matlock(my father). Dad will do the DNA testing, I just can't swing the cost of it. It would give us hopefully, some answers.
