    3. Hey Joe, I knew I could count on you to finish out the tidbit I found! Thanks!!! I will be sending you a further compilation of what I sent last month as I get it into some kind of organized (hunh???) order. I have come to the conclusion that my line does come from Charles Matlock/Medlock and that he is a son of Ricahrd from the first wife. I have also found a LOVING family who lived in the same area at the same time and which may be the end to the mystery of who the first wife was... perhaps a Loving daughter, which is why they named their son Loving Matlocks??? I am not sure when I will get this all cleaned up as I am doing it between other stuff that pays the PGE bill in sunny California (eergh). Meanwhile, we can just give um all collective credit for stimulating Jackson :) Jana -----Original Message----- From: Joe Matlock [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 2001 8:52 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [MATLOCK-L] Did you know.... To MATLOCK, Andrew Jackson said at the Battle of New Orleans, 'Not yet, MATLOCK, wait until you see the whites of their eyes!' MATLOCK was anxious for the fray and ready to shoot when the General laid his hand on MATLOCK's shoulder and gave him the order...." Coooooooooool?????!!!!!!!
