Joe, This is something that I've noticed.... Look at the children for Gabriel on the 1860 census then look at 1870. On the Matlock Census Web page. Mary, Eramus, (on 1870 it was hard to read), Then Thomas, Then on 1870 the infant. No name given. The head of household was Abraham but in 1860 it was Gabriel...
