Jana I do not have these books but the Benton County Web Site as part of the TNGENWEB project does have a very good article on John Caswell, birth, death , wife, children, etc. A mention of W. L. Matlock who is not otherwise described and a listing for John Wesley Matlock on the slave schedule for 1860. Elizabeth Matlock, from the William Cooper Matlock - "Elizabeth and or Catherine" Sevier family, who married James White is also found. The articles are indexed but are not available on line. The Medlock family mentioned is of no direct relation to John Caswell and comes form the South Carolina line of Samuel Medlock who married Rebecca Ellis. I have charts if anybody would be interested.
