I am looking for the parents of William Frederick MATLOCK, he is in my MATLOCK Journal but without a no. b. 30 May 1890 in Worthington, IN d. 21 Feb 1963 in Hillsboro, Washington Co. OR He is buried in Crecent Grove, Tigard, OR. William married 1st Marquettia (May) ??? of Mexican descent. May died giving birth to a son, Arron MATLOCK. May's sister arrived to care for the baby until William came back from WW II .... by than the sister had fled back to Mexico with the baby .... Arron was never seen again ..... Juanita Fern MATLOCK IGNOWSKIE, my sisters friend, doubts he ever knew his was a MATLOCK William married 2nd Dellie Irene WRIGHT 1 Nov 1921 in Heppner, OR b. 20 Dec 1901, in Eight Mile, OR. William MATLOCK and Dellie WRIGHT had the following children 1. Juanita Fern MATLOCK = Patrick Raymond IGNOWSKI 2. Lulu Jane MATLOCK 3. Betty Lois MATLOCK 4. Carol Adelia MATLOCK These four sisters would like to know their MATLOCK grandparents There are several MATLOCK's floating about in early Oregon .... Those in Eugene,OR are connected to Edward LANE MATLOCK and came from MO. To tangle the issue more ... a branch from this family went to Heppner, Or. where a son became the hero of the Heppner Flood. The MATLOCK's in Clackamas Co. OR. have been connected to the Main MATLOCK tree ... William TYNDALL MATLOCK ...( is no. 1.1.2.2.2.3. for those who have my Journal ) William b. 4 Feb 1806, Roane Co, TN d. Clackamas, Co. OR m. Elizabeth (Betsy) BALLARD b. 8 Aug 1825, Hendricks, IND d. Clackamas Co. OR ... both are buried in the Pioneer Cemetery, Clackamas Co., Clackamas, OR.. This shows a slight connection to Indiana William MATLOCK and Elizabeth BALLARD had 1.1.2.2.2.3.3. Noble Noah MATLOCK b. 12 Apr 1831 ... ??? m. Sarah Catherine CRAIGHEAD I recently sent a photo (attachment) of Noah to some of you by e-mail ..... apparently he was in the Civil War received photo from Tom MATLOCK & the Oregon Archives Help with any of these MATLOCK's will be appreciated.
