Simpson, b. ca. 1803 Ky. Married: Elizabeth Matlock, b. ca 1803, Tn. This couple is in Barry Co., Mo. 1840 and Dade Co., Tn. 1850. Their son, William Simpson, married Elizabeth "Betsy" Matlock. b. ca. 1827, Tn. Elizabeth is in Dade Co., Mo. in 1850, 60. The daughter of Benjamin Matlock and Charity Choate. This Benjamin Matlock is the son of Luke Sr. I show Luke Sr. had a daughter, Jemmia, b. ca 1810 that shows in Dickson Co., Tn. 1850. The William R. Sooter, b. ca 1803 Tn., married Anna Matlock, b. ca 1803 Tn. This couple is in Barry Co., Mo. 1860. Anna is a daughter of Luke Sr. I am not sure this solves anything; but there has to be a connection. I am wondering if the Elizabeth and Anna are the same person, and daughter of Luke Sr. John
