Yes, you are correct...George d. 1800 was the brother of Col Charles Medlock who was the father of Keziah who married Silas Haley and produced your William Haley, however the current theory is indeed it was a George who was father of both George d. 1800 and Col Charles Medlock d. 1797 in Ga.
