Thanks, Shawn Shawn     I am looking for ancestors of William Matlack (Matlock) who was born in Cropwell Bishop, near Nottingham England. He immigrated to New Jersey  in 1677 and married Mary Hancock.     The information I have from Matlack family records collected by T. ChalKley Matlack, ( I have not personally seem them), says that:             He was born in 1648.             His father was Isaac.             He had a younger brother Thomas who had a son - Samuel, and a grandson - John.     This does not match your information that his father was George.     I would like to know the source of your information. You also show that George had a son John. Is this the John Matlock that came to America two years before William?     I would appreciate your help. Thanks Curtis Miller
