His brother was my Grandfather Robert Franklin Matlock and their Father was Littleberry Franklin Matlock Jr. They originated from Franklin Co. Alabama. This Littleberry (or as we called him Daddy Berry) was married to Ophelia Ontwain in Alabama and they moved to Giles Co. which was divided to become Giles and Maury Co.
