Hello, with many thanks to Karen Frye I am able to update a little on Matilda Matlock. She died 16 July 1895 St. Louis Missouri at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 2 days, buried Bourbon MO. Trying to figure her birthdate I came up with 18 August 1820, place was Tennessee. Assuming she is the sister to my Isham and the daughter of William, would anyone recognize her now? Hi I noticed since the one child JAMES ERWIN MATLOCK, b. 28 January 1858, Hampton, Calhoun County, Arkansas; d. 11 November 1933. Was born in Calhoun Co I went and checked on the Ark Census Index in 1860 and I found 2 Matlocks there in 1860 and 1870.. Thinking one is the father of the ones your looking for since James would only be 2 in 1860. 1860 MATLOCK A. B. Calhoun County AR 684 Locust Bayou Township 1870 MATLOCK ALBERT Calhoun County AR 615 Champagnolle Twp 1860 MATLOCK L. P. Calhoun County AR 683 Locust Bayou Township 1870 MATLOCK LEE Calhoun County AR 615 Champagnolle Township It might pay to look the 1860 and 1870 Matlocks up and see if they have the children youve listed for them.. And see if a Columbus or James E is listed with either of them.. Looking in 1850 Dallas Co Ark I found a Helena Matlock, but no sons Albert or Lee are listed with her. . I have hunch that the mother of LP/Lee and AB /Albert is a Mary who was in Ouachita Co Ark 1850 The Census reads: Mary 54 FWidow B ? Ga Albert 20 M Labor B Ala Leondius 13 M B Ala Also In Ocuchita Co were these Matlocks City of Camden John Matlock 36 merchant Ga.b 1814 1850 Ouachita Ark there was a Luke Williams family Luke William 49 M B Ga Mary 30 F B Ala Julia Matlock 7 F B Ark It shows that a L P was in Texas by 1873. L.P., married 29 August 1873 in Red River Co., Tx. A.J. Ward. I hope this helps some Brenda

I dont know much about this Gene Pool Records but I typed Isham Matlock in and this What I got back. Gene Pool Individaul Records The Gene Pool was created while gathering genealogical data for use in the study of human genetics and disease. Compiling data for genetic research does not require the same type of documentation as traditional genealogical research. The genes themselves verify relationships and qualify or disqualify a person from a particular study. Citing the source of every genealogical fact in the electronic gene pool was deemed unnecessary and cost prohibitive by medical researchers. Millions of individual records were created from birth, marriage and death records; obituaries; probate records; books of remembrance; family histories; genealogies; family group sheets; pedigree charts; and other sources. The records collected that did not fit a specific study became the project's "by-products" and were schedule to be discarded. After viewing the quality of the source material used to create the gene pool and despite the absence of cited documentation, the electronic rights to the data were purchased, rather than see it destroyed. Thousands of families are known to be present in the database, containing 20 million names in 5 million records. This data covers the entire U.S. for a wide expanse of years. At a minimum, each record contains an individual's name, date and place of birth, and the name of his or her father. A complete record will contain the following information for an individual: Name, Date and Place of Birth, Date and Place Married, Date and Place of Death, Name of Spouse, Name of Father, Name of Mother, Use this database as a finding tool, just as you would any other secondary source. When you find the name of an ancestor listed, confirm the facts in original sources, such as birth, marriage, and death records, church records, census enumerations, and probate records for the place where the even took place Isham Esau Matlock 1782 , Halifax, VA 28 November 1874 Phelps, , , 1808 Washington, , Nancy Ellen Hale Zachariah Matlock Edith Edyth Strange Nancy Ellen Hale 1786 , , TN 1860 Phelps, , MO, 1808 Washington, , TN Isham Esau Matlock Mesheck Hale Mary Carl Buckingham Elizabeth Strange Matlock 1811 Washington, , TN , , , , , Matthias Coffman Isham Isom Matlock Nancy Ellen Hale William Matlock 18 November 1813 Washington, , TN 1872 Crawford, , MO, , , Lidy Mckinney Isham Isom Matlock Nancy Ellen Hale John Matlock 31 January 1809 Washington, , TN 2 November 1899 Elk Prarie, Phelps, MO, 1827 , , TN Melinda Ellis Isham Esau Matlock Nancy Ellen Hale Jesse Haile Matlock 1821 , , TN 10 January 1895 , , MO, , , Elizabeth Adams Isham Isom Matlock Nancy Ellen Hale Thomas Buckingham Matlock 1 July 1823 Washington, , TN 3 October 1890 Mansfield, Wright, MO, 1848 Carter, , TN Elizabeth Ann Mckinney Isham Esau Matlock Nancy Ellen Hale War of 1812 Apparently from the above, the Surname Buckingham, was from Nancy Hales mother....
