I've "rescued" an old photograph of Jessie Tenney GRAY of Wyandotte, Kansas which was taken at the McCormick Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to her name and hometown, someone has also noted that she was 20 years old when the photograph was taken on July 20th 1883 along with noting the town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. The photograph was apparently a gift as well since it is signed "To Cousin Sarah" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Jessie and her family: Jessie Tenney GRAY was b. 31 Oct 1862 in Leavenworth, KS to parents Barzillai GRAY and Mary Davy TENNEY. Jessie married Charles Trelinghsen CASWELL (b. 1852 of Grand Junction, CO) on 7 May 1891 in Kansas City, KS. Charles was listed as 39 years old at the time of their marriage and Jessie as 28 years old. Census records provide the following information: 1870 census of Leavenworth, KS: Brazilla GRAY, age 46, a Criminal Court Judge, born NY Mary T.
