I've "rescued" an old photograph identified only as "NICKERSON" which was taken at the Jones Studio in Providence, Rhode Island. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with the young man in the photograph likely in his 20's at the time it was taken. The photograph was recovered along with others belonging the Class of 1878 at Brown University. In researching that class I did find information regarding Stephen Westcott NICKERSON who was a member of that Class at Brown University. I believe that this is a photograph of him.
