Email was an Obit for Ruth E. Smith Gyger, widow of Pearle R. Gyger, formerly of Washington, D.C. Pearl(e) (I've seen it with and without the E) Gyger retired from the GAO in about 1970. He and a wife, who was Ruby F. Queen Gyger at the time, moved to D.C. from the Boston area in about 1947. They lived at 1437 Rhode Island Ave NW from the late 40's to the early 70's. I have no idea when, but Ruby passed away and Pearl(e) married Ruth E. Smith of Colorado. Ruth's Obit states she and Pearl lived in Manitou Springs, CO but would visit D.C. in the winter. I guess they didn't like the winters in CO. I'd really appreciate if someone could check for a marriage license or can search for a marriage announcement - ANYTHING that ties Ruth E.
