Thanks so much for your response. I do believe there is a connection here but not sure where it all fits in. It seems my mother, who was born in 1927, had a cousin named "Hymie Berkowitz". We cannot figure out how he is/was related and have been trying to track him down for some time! Your info shows that at least he existed! Any further info or clarification would be great!
