This could be the Hy Berkowitz we are looking for. We do not know how he was related, so I am going to have to try to figure out a way to dig up some more facts. I was told by a relative that he was a cousin, and as I may have mentioned, I recall my mother a"h having spoken of a "Hymie". Perhaps he was a nephew of Barnett (Dov) and Eva (Gnessa Rivka) Berkowitz of Salem, MA? They had four daughters, Golde (Semel), Fanny (Musmon), Mollie (Amalie)(Grossman) and Annie, and they lived in Salem in the early part of the 1900's. Would you know that names of Hy's parents?
