Hi all, Marion appears in the 1930 census as the "daughter" age 12, of Michael Joseph Noonan and Rose Ann "Rosa" Cooke, living at 33 Goldsmith in Jamaica Plain, Boston. Marion is not in the 1920 census. She may have been adopted, or was a foster child. Other relatives do not recall Rosa having any children, and she left her possessions to her niece after her death, so I doubt Marion was in the picture any more. I only find Marion in this census, and don't know anything more than that. The 1930 census says Marion was born in Massachusetts and that her parents were born in Ireland, but whether that is because Rose and Michael were born in Ireland, and the census taker assumed that, I don't know. I thought I'd throw the name out on these lists, in case anyone had a "Marion R." that they knew might have been in foster care or adopted in the Boston area. Susan
