The MA Archives has an ongoing project to put all VRs from 1841 - 1915 on-line. Try the following link. Note the Marriage records are not yet available and there is no 'fuzzy' searching capability. Thus, other than specifying a span of years to search, your request will be searched exactly. _Vital Records Search_ (http://www.sec.state.ma.us/vitalrecordssearch/VitalRecordsSearch.aspx) Jack ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
I might also add, if you are posting to the list for a lookup on the NEHGS website, www.newenglandancestors.org, for what the actual image shows, indicate that the source for your entry is the free Mass Archives database. The NEHGS and Mass Archives databases came from the same scanning process. Mass Archives folks made corrections to some of their database entries and NEHGS volunteers have and are making corrections to their database entries. I have personally made over 10,000 corrections to the NEHGS database and I'm not the only one doing it. The databases no longer match and your Mass Archives entries might be quite different from the NEHGS entry due to column shifts, clerks mistyping town names (I just changed a Darmouth entry to the correct town of Yarmouth), and scanning errors.
