You know where and when a person died, but can't find record. I'm in the same boat.. My dad also died in 1952 in Stoneham Ma, and for some reason theres no obituary about him, yet I remember when he died we had one(I was only 12 then so I didn't think of saving it-which of course I regret now) My dad was Arvo Alfred Nelson, He died in Nov 23 1952 , leaving my mother (Margaret Mary Bradley Nelson, and us 3 children me, brother Peter now deceased(april 1988) and our sister. His parents were Alfred Nelson, and Sylvia Maria Piispanen both born in Finland. Dad had been born in Quincy Ma Feb 1908. Sorry to ramble here, I just meant to let you know that I understand your frustration. Good luck D
