Hi List, I don't know if it is possible to find a newspaper article going back to 1884. The websites I have for old newspapers do not. I am trying to help a friend who lives in England. She is trying to find a newspaper article on a death that occurred in Boston. She wrote: "Boston. Joseph Calvert WHEATER, born May 30, 1865, accidentally killed by the premature discharge of a gun, July 4, 1884; then a student in the Boston Art School." John Calvert WHEATER was the son of Timothy WHEATER. If it helps, Timothy was a member of the Boston Masonic Lodge. She has been trying to find this article for years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would go to libraries, etc. myself and search but I live out of state.
