    3. Hello Listmembers I need your help in solving a mystery, now I know you all like a good mystery because after all we are family historians... and that's what we thrive on.... after trying and getting nowhere, I am coming to you all for help! I am looking for any information, histories, on CAPTAIN JAMES PAXTON, he was 19 years of age, and he was the Capt*ai*n of the Brig Water Witch. This was early 1830's He died young from a fever his wife brought up the children. Ok, now, you are asking so what was his wife's name, good question, all we know right now is that she was the daughter of Mr. Eben Belknap and his wife, Martha. This is a big challenge and I know all of you are up to it, so please let me hear from all of you. Thanking you in advance Have a wonderful day everyone Sue --------------------------------- Yahoo! 3. Hello Priscilla Sorry but this does not appear to be the James Paxton I am in hopes of finding. James Paxton most likely was born in 1812 and his son James was born in 1839 Thanks for trying, I appreciate your help very much.
