I was adopted, and have tried to get some of the Rusk people still living in Boston area to respond, to no avail. Alexander (or John Alexander) was my biological grandfather. This may be my Rusk, or at minimum, may be related. It is entirelty possible that they did come through Maine, have, especially if they came from Newfoundland or one of the other NE provinces. I will check further into this. I think there may have been a date issue. Thanks for the update
